What do a poisoned martini, a body buried in the suburbs, and a deadly car ride have in common? They are all part of a mysterious calendar published this fall by the New England Chapter of Sisters in Crime.
When the national SinC board challenged its chapters for proposals to celebrate the organization's twentieth anniversary, New England Chapter treasurer Ruth McCarty came up with the winning idea. The calendar features Roger Leo's photographs of over sixty New England authors and SinC members, including Janet Evanovich on an excavator with biker chicks, an "autopsy" performed by author Tess Gerritsen on author Jeremiah Healy, and many others.
